Anne Guza, was a loyal Bedford Sportsman customer in the later years of her life. A resident of St. Simons island, Anne had loved to shop here ever since discovering the store, and usually making purchases for her 9 children and 22 grandchildren. She absolutely loved the size of the store, an original cottage on the island, because she doesn't have to walk much, yet there's a great variety of items. She found unique things for herself, her family, and her home. She always found books, warm clothing, among other things there, and most especially loved the personal attention she got from our staff. She called it the "one-stop-shop" on St. Simons Island.
Anne passed away peacefully on July 2, 2011. She will be missed and as a tribute to her and her pleasant ways we are leaving this up to recognize this truly great lady.
