Robert Bateman is a conservationist as well as an artist. Aside from his private participation in numerous preservation efforts, he created fund-raising art for many conservation and duck stamp programs. "Rolling Waves- Greater Scaup" was used on the 1989 New York Migratory Bird Stamp. Included with this print is an official 1989 stamp that features his painting.
